PRAISE OF YOUTH | Loulé

#OCSorquestra

The real music festival for the whole family is back!

Youth, flower of the age, green years, spring of life... Young age has many names and many facets, as many as the personality of young people.

It has been like this over the centuries and classical music is no exception! Did you know that at the age of sixteen Felix Mendelssohn had already written one of his life's masterpieces? And that at that age Mozart and Schubert already had impressive catalogues with music of all genres, from opera to miniature salon music.

In this promenade concert, conducted by João Gaspar and presented by baritone Rui Baeta, we set off to discover the youthful spirit in classical music with just one rule: no music written by adults!
